I am opposed to the releasing of genetically modified mosquitos into the wild. We are messing with the balance of nature and don't know the long term effects of minimizing or eradicating mosquitos. We also don't know if GM mosquitos can be harmful in any way to humans or to animals that might consume them.

As much as I don't like mosquitos, I don't agree with this solution.
