Hi!

My name is Marisa, I’m the biologist with Polk County Mosquito Control. I listened to a presentation

by Rachel Bales last week at FMCA regarding mosquitofish and had a quick question!

What “application rate,” if you will, do you utilize with your fish? How many fish do you give to an

individual resident, and how many do you put in each body of water? I’ve found some resources

online from some mosquito control programs in the northeastern USA, but am trying to find if there is

information on best practices of this in Florida.
